Privacy Policy

Our golden rule

Everything the app does happens on your phone, except for ads, crash reports and subscriptions.

We have no accounts, no servers of our own, and we don't know who you are. To show ads and fix bugs, the app connects to third-party services; this policy details what is shared with them.

What information is collected

EXITPLAN does not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos or the content of your device.

Through the third-party services the app integrates, the following is collected:

• Advertising ID: to show and measure ads, and attribute installs to ad campaigns. Shared with Google AdMob and TikTok.
• Approximate location, derived from your IP address: to show region-relevant ads. Shared with Google AdMob and TikTok. We do not access your precise location or GPS.
• App interactions: to measure ad and campaign performance. Shared with Google AdMob and TikTok.
• Crash reports and diagnostic data: to detect and fix bugs. Processed by Firebase Crashlytics.

All of this information travels encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). None of this data lets us identify you personally.

What is stored on your device

So the app can remember your preferences between sessions, EXITPLAN stores the following in your phone's local storage:

• The four sounds you've chosen for quick access.
• Any audio you've imported yourself.
• Your settings (vibration, maximum volume and dark-screen playback).
• Whether you've already seen the initial intro.
• Your subscription status.

This information never leaves your device. We can't see it, retrieve it or associate it with you. If you uninstall the app, it disappears with it.

Permissions the app uses

• Notifications: to show playback controls so you can stop the sound without unlocking your phone.
• Foreground service (media playback): so audio keeps playing with the screen off.
• Modify audio settings: to raise the volume when a sound is triggered.
• Vibration: for the vibration pattern that accompanies the sound. You can turn it off.
• Internet and network state: to load ads, send crash reports and verify your subscription status.

The app does not request access to the microphone, camera, your precise location, your contacts or your device's general storage.

Third parties, ads and analytics

EXITPLAN integrates the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob — shows the ads in the free version. How Google uses data.
• TikTok for Business SDK — measures which ad campaigns drive installs. TikTok privacy policy.
• Firebase Crashlytics (Google) — collects crash reports. Firebase privacy.
• Google Play Billing — processes subscriptions. Google handles payment; we don't see or receive your card details.

We do not sell your information to anyone.

How to limit personalized advertising

On your phone, go to Settings → Google → Ads and turn on "Opt out of Ads Personalization", or reset your advertising ID. You'll still see ads, but they'll no longer be personalized.

Purchases and subscriptions

EXITPLAN offers a paid subscription that removes ads and unlocks additional features.

Payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive, see or store your payment method details. The app only checks on your device whether your subscription is active.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from Google Play.

Children's privacy

EXITPLAN is rated for all audiences. We do not collect personally identifiable data from anyone, including children under 13.

Ads shown to users who may be minors are served in non-personalized mode, in line with Google Play's Families policies.

Your rights

Data protection laws grant you rights of access, rectification and deletion over your personal information. Since we maintain no servers or accounts, we hold no data associated with you that we could hand over or delete.

About data handled by third parties:

• Advertising ID: you can reset or disable it from your phone's settings, as explained in the "Third parties, ads and analytics" section.
• Preferences saved on the phone: entirely under your control and deleted when you uninstall the app.
• Any other query: write to us at the address in the Contact section and we'll help.

Updates to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last updated" date and takes effect as soon as it is accessible. If the app begins collecting types of data other than those described here, we'll indicate it before doing so.
